4 Pin Smart Systems: Release steering lock on first screen of Nissan. After releasing go program key > Type > Smart > 4 Pin > Type 1 or 2 (if one fails try the other) program the Remote/Prox function, go under Remote and then type 2 and press Erase Remote the screen will tell you press lock button, and with the remote in the slot need to press lock.
